Re: Urgent - How to check VM logs?

Thanks a lot for your response.  It actually not happened inside the guest.  We had some issue with netapp snap, 300-400 snaps were piling up for each guest. Some one manually moved these vm's to different data store to bring them up and consolidate.  Because in case of crash all the data will be lost in that guest.  So making a copy and trying to merge these snaps.  In this process alost 90+ guest's vmx, vmdk  and some other files were lost.  We exactly do not know who caused this issue, is it netapp itself or human error.  So to find that out I am looking for where to get these in the logs.  I did checked the events from vcenter, it is showing file deleted, but not showing what file was it.  So I am trying to find the same in the logs, what caused the issue.  Appreciated your help in this.

Thanks,

Ravi
