Hi guys,
I had an issue with a P2V process. I tried to virtualize a physical server running Windows Server 2008 R2 with Converter Standalone 5.1 to a vSphere Infrastructure - on a ESXi 5 host. The message is FAILED: Unable to find the system volume, reconfiguration is not possible at 98%. Below you can find some outputs from the conversion logs:
2013-08-14T05:03:25.310+03:00 [05032 error 'Default'] [task,350] [LRO] Unexpected Exception: converter.fault.ReconfigurationNoSystemVolumeFault
2013-08-14T05:03:25.372+03:00 [05032 info 'Default'] [task,379] [task-1] -- ERROR -- Convert: converter.fault.ReconfigurationNoSystemVolumeFault
--> (converter.fault.ReconfigurationNoSystemVolumeFault) {
--> dynamicType = <unset>,
--> faultCause = (vmodl.MethodFault) null,
--> description = "InternalError",
--> msg = "",
--> }
After the conversion I did notice something interesting about the server. It only has a C: drive, which I selected in the conversion options, but it also has a folder from C: mounted as a separate partition, F:. Could this be the cause of the error?
Regards,
