Then disable the VMware Workstation Server Service and see it that improves performance.
i will make a video of how slow it is behaving as compared to virtualbox.. hopefully there will be some way to post flv screencasts here .

A video is not really going to be of much diagnostic value so don't waste then bandwidth! 
Collecting diagnostic information for VMware Workstationwould be much more useful then a video!
